Getting ready for Hannah

Jim and I finally purchased a crib! Trust me,this is a big step for us. We are slackers when it comes to getting ready for Hannah. Luckily, my friend Evelyn, was shopping at the Pottery Barn outlet and found a crib and a changing table on clearance. She will bring them up for one of my showers. This is our first big purchase.

I think the only other thing we have done would be to put together a bassinet. Again, thanks to a friend, we were given a bassinet. Of course, Jim and I also bought a bassinet. Keep in mind, Betty is also reviving an antique bassinet. Yes, we will have three. I figure one will go upstairs, one down, and the other to my Mother. This should cover all the bases.

Now that showers are beginning, I'll have more to post. Sorry for being a slacker, but we haven't done much in the way of preparation. I am still waiting for Jim to get the storage unit so we can clear some space for Hannah. Hopefully, this will be taken care of soon. We only have seven weeks left. That is, unless she comes early.
