Last Saturday, three of my friends threw my first Baby Shower. Heather, Annece, and Kim created quite the spread for Hannah's big day. The party started around 11:00AM, so they had a brunch menu. I was very impressed. In fact, the Ladies in attendance asked for their recipes. Way to go, Girls!
I couldn't believe the generosity of all my friends and family. I had so many presents to open, and had the best time opening them. I realize the gifts are for Hannah, but let's face it, I am the one who gets to play dress up with her. I'll let Jim in on the action. In fact, a few gifts were specifically for him. My oldest and dearest friend, Tracy and her mother Lin, gave Jim a onesie that says "Daddy's Princess." It is decorated with Swarovski crystals. Quite the fancy outfit. I will definitely get a picture when Hannah is born. There are several precious outfits I will need to take pictures in. Annece bought her so many outfits that were absolutely adorable. My sister, Jody, bought a few special dresses as well. Jim’s best-friend Colin’s wife, Heidi, will be making sure that Miss Hannah will be riding around in style in her cool car seat!
Clothes aren't the only thing she received. Hannah has two bouncers, and exersaucer, bath toys, her first book, three handmade blankets, bows, a bathtub, several stuffed animals, an ABC froggie (which is Jim's favorite), a playmat, personalized burpcloths, a personalized diaper bag, and so much more.
Jim and I are so grateful to have such wonderful friends and family to support us while we enjoy this new adventure of parenthood. We appreciate all the kind words of advice and help. Trust me, we need help! Jim and I had to be told what some of our gifts were for. Sad, but very true.

I LOVE the little cakes that look like blocks! What a cute idea. Now why don't they give showers for people expecting their third child?!? Just kidding--with having another girl I have too much stuff as it is!
