More Showers in the Forecast

I had my second baby shower on February 17th. This one was held at La Hacienda Ranch in Dallas, by my two friends, Erecka Miller and Leigh Stanton. What a Fiesta! There were roughly 30 Ladies there with tons of gifts. I couldn't believe it, I was being showered again.

It was very nice to be able to walk around and talk to everyone, while having appetizers. The VIP platters at the Ranch are lovely. They have nachos, flautas, steak, and quesadillas. Of course, we had tableside guacamole as well. After social hour, we proceeded to open gifts. This seemed to never end. I loved it, but for those who had to wait on me, I am sorry. It is definitely more fun to open gifts, than to watch. Basically, I had the best job.

After gifts, we had some cake, which was also very cute! Yes, it was delicious. I know, I'm a pregnant lady, so all cake is delicious. But really, this was good cake! I hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as I did. The staff at the Ranch was wonderful, and I really appreciate it. Erecka and Leigh did a fabulous job keeping the party going. I am very grateful to have such wonderful friends and family.

This shower brought little Hannah her strollers, carriers, diaper bags, a beautiful cross, a piggy bank, a bathtub, a basket full of goodies, lots of necessities such as lotions, washes and Mylecon, diapers, a zebra doll, "Goodnight Moon," a catepillar toy, a ducky backpack, a leapfrog counting frog, and lots of clothes! Whew, I am sure I left things out, but they are not forgotten.

Thanks again for helping Jim and I prepare for Hannah. We have 36 days to go.
