We finally picked a name!

It's true. After months of discussion and disagreement, Jim and I finally chose a name for our little girl. In our defense, we just found out we were having a girl two months ago. Trying to choose a boy name and a girl name proved to be too much for us.

The task was daunting. Jim and I would privately make lists and then see if anything matched. Nope! We would talk endlessly over the Baby Name Book, that had the most ridiculous names I had ever seen. We are not trying to name our child Apple, here! We want a normal, not too conservative( okay, I don't want too conservative. You know Jim wanted the most conservative names on earth)name. Actually, Jim seemed to be attached to all 80's names like Jennifer, or Amanda. I was partial to Audrey, or even a Bailey. He wouldn't go for it.

One day, Jim took out his paper and wrote down THE NAME. I had mentioned it a few times, but not too much. When I saw it on his sheet, I became quite attached. I hinted at THE NAME several times. Finally, on a plane to Denver, Jim and decided we need to make a decision before Joel and Wendy picked a name. Keep in mind, they don't know if they are having a boy or girl yet.

It happened! On the flight, we chose a name. We are very happy with our choice. Of course, we took a vote from the Grandmothers to see which middle name we would pick. We had it narrowed down to two. No, I'm not going to tell you the losing name. It was unanimous, and the same as our original choice. We had chosen correctly.
