Snow Days

Dallas had the largest snow storm in its history this past Thursday. The final count was 12.6 inches. This is a big deal in Dallas. Because of this storm, Jim and Hannah were able to make this cowboy snowman. They worked very hard on him. In fact, he is still here with us. I don't think I remember having a snowman stay at our house for more than a day. I'm ecstatic that Hannah and Sarah get to experience this. It probably won't happen again in their lifetime. At least, not in Dallas.

Hannah's hands were bright red when she and Jim came back in. I think they were in the shower for 10 minutes before she started to thaw out. Hannah had so much fun playing in the snow, she couldn't wait to do it again. I just wish we had proper attire for her. Who would have thought it would snow in February?

Friday, we stayed in and enjoyed the day off. Actually, Jim and I had to work, so I asked my friend Lisa to ship her kids down to play with Hannah. Yes, this makes it easier to work. Kieran and Jessica entertained Hannah long enough for us to get our work done.

After a long day of work, Hannah and I went outside and made snow angels. The snow was so fluffy, I could throw Hannah into the snow so she could makes her angel. She loved it. Hannah and Sarah hung out inside for most of the day. I have cute pics of them cuddling. Adorable!
Sarah has also started eating cereal. Hannah wanted to feed her. I only hope that Sarah isn't too traumatized by the spoon being shoved down her throat. What can I say, Hannah was helping. She did a great job most of the time. Unfortunately, she would push the spoon too far down Sarah's throat. Oops. I am just thrilled Hannah loves her sister enough to want to help.
