Hannah Rolled Over!

Yep, she rolled over and I missed it. Carolyn told me Hannah doesn't want to sleep in the swing anymore(which is great), she wants to be in her crib. Well, my thought was, it's because she likes sleeping on her side, so she can suck her thumb. This conversation took place Thursday morning as I dropped Hannah off at daycare. When I stopped in to pick her up early, she had just fallen asleep. I decided to leave since I was on my way to Plano to view a couple of houses. I didn't want to wake her, plus she still needed to eat. Then, I noticed, she was on her stomach. Obviously, the question needed to be asked, "Why is Hannah on her stomach?" Aleisha, one of the caretakers, replied, " Oh she was screeming then rolled over and went to sleep. There was no surprised look, no shock of doing something new. Just sleep.

My little Hannah has finally rolled from her back to her stomache and I missed it. That was okay, because I could watch her on the baby monitor. Nope! I watched until 10:00PM and she placed her hands behide her head and went to sleep. There has been no desire to do it again. I went out of town and left her with Jim for a father/daughter weekend, and still no rolling. I've decided that if she does it again, I'll consider it her first time...

You better get moving, Juli.

Amanda rolled over 2 months ago.

In fact, she just said her first word: "snorkel"

Tomorrow, we're taking her training wheels off her bike.
