First Day at DayCare

Hannah started Daycare yesterday. It sounds like she had a great time. As most of you know, I have Hannah on a schedule. I follow a book called "BabyWise." It basically helps you get your baby on a schedule so they will sleep through the night quicker. It also helps the baby organize their days and nights. Anyway, I was really worried that the Daycare would really knock her off her schedule, but they didn't do too bad of a job. They came close. Hannah still slept through the night. Of course, I'll know more after tonight. If she gets off schedule, she wakes up in middle of the night. On schedule, Hannah sleeps until 6:15AM. I consider this great since her last feeding is around 8:15 or 8:30PM. She is basically giving us 10 hours at night.

Carolyn, pictured above, runs the baby room. Hannah took to her right away. She told me Hannah does not like tummy time, unless other babies are doing it too. She also will not nap in her crib. That is our fault. Hannah is not used to napping in a crib. We haven't even put hers up yet. We are hoping to move first. However, I have been bad about letting her sleep in her swing or bouncy seat. I am trying to get her to sleep in her bassinet. It is no easy task. She fights it all the way. I usually get a 30 minute nap, and then she wakes up crying. Luckily, she supposedly cannot sart manipulating me until her 4th month. I have until then to get her used to it.
